Description:The museum consists of over four hundred plaster casts of classical Greek and Roman sculptures, from 650BC to 400AD. In the 19th Century the accepted way of studying classical art was through plaster casts, and such collections were more common. Most periods and styles are represented, with replicas of many celebrated works such as the Parthenon Marbles, the Discus Thrower, the Aphrodite of Knidos, and the Venus de Milo
